Columbia University School of Professional Studies: Success Stories
Second in a series of profiles that highlight a diverse group of alumni and students from each program.

Daniel Salas
Nonprofit Management

Daniel was a professional and accomplished ballet dancer for years and ultimately - as he says - "hung up his ballet shoes" and pursued a job as a Major Gifts Associate at the American Ballet Theater. In addition to his full-time role of raising funds for ABT's initiatives, Daniel attends Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies and plans to graduate in May 2019 with a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management.

Daniel's story is one of the many profiles we gathered that highlight the ways the Columbia School of Professional Studies allows students to pursue a world-class education while working in their field of choice.  The interaction and overlap between the two is the catalyst for success.

For each profile, we interviewed students and alumni to learn about what made their experience at Columbia School of Professional Studies unique, and put together a set of media assets that will ultimately be used in a campaign that both exists on the SPS website as well as across all media channels (banner ads, social content, etc.)
